Job Overview

Under broad guidance, ensures clients obtain maximum value from products and services in order to facilitate a positive and productive long-term relationship, either broad client or offering focused.


Essential Functions

• Ensures fulfillment of contract specifications and ad-hoc client requests to build client satisfaction, under supervision.

• Assists team members to build, establish and maintain effective business relationships with clients to proactively support their needs as their day-to-day contact, possibly focused on a specific product or service.

• Ensures, through review and verification, that the product deliverable meets the customer's specifications, including timeliness and quality.

• Partners with the account manager and clients to derive optimum value from IQVIA products and services by explaining and expanding the usage of current IQVIA deliverables and identifying revenue opportunities within existing clients.

• Maintains effective internal communications with sales and client service support to keep all apprised on activities with the client.

• Monitors performance against existing service agreements and ensures client’s obligations are met.

• Researches, analyzes and responds to client that require an in-depth understanding of the client, specific business line, and/or therapeutic market.

• May conduct product/services and process training for clients and other employees.

• May conduct service meetings at client sites.

• Represents IQVIA on external client projects.

• May mentor and lead other client service reps and represent the manager in their absence.


Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Required

• Related work experience Required

• Experience as an IQVIA Client Service Representative Required

• Broad knowledge of the concepts, practices and procedures of the client service representative field Required

• Broad knowledge of IQVIA products and the Pharmaceutical industry Required

• Meeting facilitation, presentation and training experience Required

• Proficiency in PC applications, such as Excel

• Ability to communicate effectively with various levels in the organization (written and oral) and to manipulate large transactional databases

• Demonstrated problem solving, analytical and strong customer service skills

• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships in a diverse business environment

• Ability to travel to clients and IQVIA offices as appropriate

• Accreditation preferred in multiple business lines of IMS service certification program Required

The Brand Insights Manager role exists to help uncover, develop and champion the insights that will form the foundation of strong brand strategy projects. The two primary purposes of this role are: Insights support: support the wider Strategy team, and take the lead as appropriate, in the insights and consulting phases of brand development projects.

Project management: provide strong project management to ensure that the consulting phase of all projects runs smoothly and effectively. Quantitative research, Taking responsibility for running quantitative research projects and providing support on key tasks including:

o Project design and proposal writing

o Questionnaire development, including online questionnaire programming where relevant

o Charting

o Data analysis

o Write up and insight / implication development (with the support of wider team)

• Taking responsibility for project management aspects of the project including:

o Developing and managing a timeline

o Managing project budget and costs

o Fieldwork set up and management, including liaising with the fieldwork agency where appropriate

o Other relevant project management tasks including organizing prizes, managing freelancers

Qualitative research • Assisting the Brand Strategy team in running qualitative research projects and providing support on key tasks including:

o project design and proposal writing

o writing discussion guides

o conducting focus groups and depth interviews, depending on experience

o analysis and identifying key insights

o report write up and delivery

• Taking responsibility for project management aspects of the project including:

o developing and managing a timeline

o managing project budget and costs

o managing recruitment, writing specs and screeners and liaising with recruiters

o other relevant project management tasks including organizing venues, coordinating interview times, organizing transcripts, organizing incentive payments

Desk research • Conducting desk research tasks as proposed to clients including:

o Distilling and synthesising existing research and relevant documents such as strategy documents and annual reports, and extracting key insights that will inform the broader project

o Competitive reviews

o Searching for relevant information in publicly available reports, websites etc

o Writing up key findings in a succinct report to the client

Brand positioning • Assisting the Brand Strategy team in running brand positioning projects:

o Participating in internal brand development working sessions, contributing ideas and capturing outputs as appropriate

o Attending client brand positioning workshops and capturing key outputs

o Assisting with the compilation of final brand positioning documents

• Taking responsibility for project management aspects of the project including:

o Developing and managing a timeline

o Managing project budget and costs

o Organising venues, workshop materials, audio-visual equipment as appropriate

Team support • On occasion, providing support to other team members as required

Requirements:• Experience working in market research in a research, brand or communications agency, with exposure to a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies

  • Experience with project-managing a variety of research projects
  • Quant experience including managing fieldwork, charting & data analysis and the ability to use Q (or else with SPSS experience and willingness to learn Q)
  • Qual experience including recruitment and set up management
  • A passion for uncovering insights and looking beyond data for meaningful implications
  • While specific brand strategy experience is not required, an interest in brands and marketing thinking and the ability to think strategically will be important to succeed in this role, Research experience within the financial services sector will be highly regarded
