Associate, Ads & Promotions – CPG Insights

Location: REMOTE USA

Contract Duration:  6 months

Contract Type:   W2 through Staffing Supplier

Pay Rate: $50 - $55/hr

 

About the Role: 

We are looking for a detail-oriented, highly-motivated individual to join our CPG Insights team as an Associate of Ads and Promotions. In this role, you will work closely with our Sales team to support marketing campaigns that promote and celebrate our unique relationships with CPG partners. You will be responsible for analyzing data, developing client-facing reports, and identifying optimization opportunities to accelerate brand sales and category share growth. This is a truly unique opportunity to help define and shape a fast-growing, global consumer brand. 

 

***Specific experience as a Business Analyst with Marketing Insights focus required and should be clearly outlined on the resume.  Strong SQL experience is also critical to success in this role.***

 

What you’ll do: 

• Work closely with the ops and sales teams on scoping ad campaigns 

• Gather data for marketing products and prepare data for subsequent analysis 

• Develop client-facing reports that synthesize campaign performance trends and identify optimization opportunities 

• Analyze the performance of marketing products and surface product performance insights to support sales efforts 

 

About you: 

• You have a passion for data with strong attention to detail

• You are a strong communicator and can prioritize across multiple projects 

 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher 

• 1-3 years experience as an analyst or marketer in an advertising agency, ecommerce, consumer brand or tech company 

• You have an understanding of relational databases, ETL tools, data conversion, and data cleansing methods 

• You are proficient in excel (can maintain large, complex data sets) 

• You have experience using SQL to aggregate and cleanse data 

• Thrive in a self-starter, fast-paced and changing environment 

• Strong organization and communication skills
