Executive Summary
A dynamic and innovative technology-enabled marketplace is seeking an Associate Manager, Consumer/Product Marketing for a contract assignment. This marketing leader will support the go-to-market strategy and integrated growth initiatives for major new, consumer-facing product features with a focus on affordability. Operating at the intersection of product, brand, growth, and operations, the role requires outstanding cross-functional partnership, excellent business acumen, and a passion for delivering measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the customer advocate, developing a deep understanding of consumer pain points and needs
- Develop and execute marketing strategies and initiatives aimed at product affordability and accessibility
- Lead cross-functional efforts across product, strategy, creative, retention, and analytics, activating paid, owned, earned, and in-app marketing channels
- Provide updates and insights to senior leadership, reporting on campaign progress, and program performance
- Create, track, and report on primary program and campaign metrics to stakeholders and organizational leaders
- Identify trends, audience insights, and opportunities for innovation, adapting strategies and tactics accordingly
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, current marketing and consumer trends, and competitive landscape
Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in marketing within a corporate or startup environment
- Fluency across the marketing mix with a full understanding of product marketing and growth marketing initiatives
- Proven ability to build relationships, influence cross-functional teams, and lead without direct authority
- Strategic, data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret trends and insights
- Strong creative and collaborative skills; enthusiasm for working with others to solve complex challenges
- High degree of initiative, dependability, and capability to efficiently multi-task
- Proven record driving and measuring business success through marketing campaigns
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Nice to Have
- Experience in omnichannel marketing campaigns or product launches
