About the Role 

As a Contractor- Employee Relations Partner, you will facilitate and help manage employee relations for our Go To Market function and act as a neutral intermediary between employees and leaders. Reporting to Sr. Manager, People Business Partner you will work with people leaders and cross-functional business partners in the area of escalated employee performance management, involuntary terminations, employee engagement, employee concerns, mediated conversations, and listening sessions. You will be responsible for supporting the ER function by capturing metrics and data points, ensuring consistent processes across functions within our Go To Market team which includes, Global Sales and Merchant Strategy and Operations, providing updates to business and HR leaders, and recommendations on areas of opportunity. You will have the flexibility to think creatively and out of the box on process efficiencies and strategic initiatives involving our employees and leaders. You will support operationalizing and building efficiency within our ER processes, policies, and procedures.

  • Partner with assigned business organizations and designated HRBPs to provide Employee Relations guidance and advice
  • Support and coach Managers in developing, delivering, and monitoring Performance Improvement Plans and review complaints or concerns from teammates regarding the process
  • Consult the business on properly interpreting company policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner
  • Contribute new ideas for continuous improvement, including process enhancements that reduce costs, strengthen client satisfaction, and/or improve the effective delivery of services; participate in implementation as applicable.

  • BS/BA degree preferred or relevant on the job experience, with at least 3 years relevant employee relations experience, ideally focused employee relations, employment law, or HRBP/People Partner experiences
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills exemplified by great communication (written and oral) and a high EQ
  • A phenomenal team player who knows how and when to collaborate to ensure success, and is comfortable liaising with multiple levels of leadership, Legal, HRBPs, and other stakeholders to get things done
  • Experience working with HR Information Systems (Workday, Service Now, etc.) and case management software (HR Acuity)
  • You are a problem solver, with a strong bias for action that knows how to ask the right questions when you’re unsure
  • Flexible, organized, and able to easily shift priorities
  • "Customer service" minded professional
  • Exceptional follow-through and attention to detail
  • Well-versed in federal employment law and able to look up relevant state legislation as needed
  • Position may require some light travel as needed.
