Executive Summary
We are seeking strategic, resourceful, and high-performing Managers for the Merchant Sentiment Operations team, providing coverage for leaves of absence. The roles are responsible for day-to-day team oversight, talent development, and fostering a collaborative, solution-focused environment. Managers will work on site to enable effective in-person people management and immediate problem-solving. The ideal candidate has proven leadership experience, a team-first mentality, and a passion for driving collective success.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and long-term success of the Merchant Sentiment team
  • Foster and nurture team collaboration, employee development, and a solution-oriented team environment
  • Conduct in-person 1:1 meetings with direct reports, facilitate cross-team connections, and respond quickly to evolving business needs
  • Provide guidance, motivation, and support to team members across varied responsibilities
  • Develop strategies to meet high talent standards and ensure a positive team culture
  • Utilize Salesforce, JIRA, and Workday for operational efficiency and team management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners within the Marketplace organization
Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in people leadership or team management
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong passion for developing teams and fostering high performance
  • Team-focused, empathetic leadership style; skilled in managing change
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, JIRA, and Workday systems
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be physically present in the Tempe office as required (in-office days set by business needs)
