Marketing Project Specialist – Alcohol General Management

Location:  Remote USA (Any time zone)

Contract Duration:  3 months (potential extension)

Contract Type:  W2 through Staffing Supplier

Pay Rate:  $28 - $30/hr

 

The Alcohol General Management team’s Consumer Pod operates in a space between Consumer Growth and our delivery platform, and we often need to quickly activate in-house marketing and improve operational efficiency to drive immediate business growth

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • (Define Strategy: 10% of time) collaborate with GM team to define occasion strategy and approach
  • (Lead Execution: 60% of time) support quick executional efforts and manage campaign execution from end to end 
  • (Drive Learnings: 30% of time) write campaign retros and identify best practices for future efforts, levering SQL to analyze campaign performance and identify what is working well and what isn’t

Technical Skills: 

  • Google Sheets / Excel - proficient. Able to create and manipulate data to report results and understand trends
  • Campaign Manager - (learn on job). Able to set up & audit campaigns
  • Figma - (can be learned on job). Able to create images for banners and emails using templates. Willing to learn more advanced level to create templates themselves
  • SQL - basic understanding. Able to manipulate and write queries to pull performance metrics. The candidate will be given a few SQL exercises for assessment

 

Knowledge / Experience: 

  • Project Management - Able to prioritize an ongoing intake of projects 
  • Stakeholder Management - Familiar with daily updates and working with many cross-functionals
  • Data Analysis - Able to pull performance across individual campaigns to to compile learnings and incorporate those into future work

Speed and Consistency: 

  • This is a daily process – we need someone who’s able to be hands on, available, and all over it

 

EXAMPLE PROJECTS / DAY IN THE LIFE

Weekly cadence: 

  • Manage and prioritize an ongoing intake of projects (with Fei) 

Daily cadence: 

  • Communicate with cross-functional teams to address any questions

Example Projects: Typically 1-2 week turnarounds 

  • Promo & Marketing Activations
  • Creatives (Banners, Emails, Header images) 
  • Merchandising Audits/ Campaign management 
  • Campaign Performance Tracking and Readouts for leadership

Example Problems to Solve: Throughout contract period

  • What marketing levers have the highest ROI? E.g., revenue or new cx earned from banners, carousels, digital flyers etc. for the time invested 
  • What are ways to improve efficiency? E.g., by creating templates, reducing steps, re-allocating resources, etc.
