Position Overview

A major provider in the on-demand, retail, and grocery sector is seeking a Merchant Services Specialist, New Verticals to support inventory catalog launches, updates, and process improvements for a variety of merchant types. The position focuses on managing and optimizing large-scale inventory data, supporting catalog onboarding for grocery and retail vendors, and driving continuous improvement in catalog management processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with inventory data from new grocery, convenience, and retail partners to prepare catalogs for launch or update.
  • Own the building and management of product catalogs, supporting seamless onboarding for non-prescription merchants such as gift shops, florists, grocers, liquor stores, and other retail partners.
  • Interpret and implement product taxonomy, ensuring large volumes of inventory data conform to pre-existing catalog structures for ease of consumer shopping.
  • Contribute to improving processes for catalog launch and maintenance by identifying best practices and recommending optimizations.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams to support the expansion and development of new vertical offerings.
  • Maintain high standards for data accuracy and catalog integrity throughout the onboarding and updating cycles.
  • Support team culture through reliable collaboration and communication with colleagues.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Self-sufficient and motivated, demonstrated success as an independent contributor and team collaborator.
  • Strong experience with Google Sheets and/or Excel, including formulas for handling and simplifying large datasets.
  • Commitment to managing projects end-to-end, with attention to detail throughout planning, building, and maintenance phases.
  • Capable of bringing insights and constructive suggestions to developing team processes.
