Process Engineer

Job Description:

This role is responsible for executing high-volume warehouse rezoning work to support pick-path optimization across a network of micro-fulfillment centers. You'll be tasked with identifying ideal pick paths, updating zoning maps using tools like Lucidchart, and reassigning rack and bin locations accordingly. In addition to execution responsibilities, this role involves advising on foundational site layout design by providing strategic feedback, including the optimal placement for inbound, stocking, picking, and packing areas, to maximize labor efficiency throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and establish ideal pick paths within micro-fulfillment centers.
• Update and maintain zoning maps using Lucidchart.
• Reassign rack and bin locations to optimize efficiency.
• Advise on site layout design with a focus on maximizing labor efficiency.
• Provide strategic feedback for optimal placement of key operational areas.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Strong understanding of warehouse flow, layout logic, and operational task sequencing.
• Familiarity with Lucidchart, Excel/Google Sheets, and warehouse operations.
• Experience with Google Suite products is preferred.
• Ability to plan and accomplish goals using experience and judgment.
• Capable of executing repeatable tasks at a high pace.
• Creativity and efficiency in standardizing output across multiple sites.
  
  A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $60-65. The compensation range is specific to the United States and incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
