Executive Summary
We are seeking a strategic, resourceful, and high-performing Project Coordinator/Specialist III (Launch Specialist, Platform Innovation) to join our client's Platform Operations organization. This role is essential to executing new white-label restaurant partnerships, owning the onboarding and training process, and shaping merchant experiences on the platform. You’ll operate at the intersection of product launch, training, and customer success, with major travel requirements and cross-functional collaboration across sales, operations, product, and account management.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel regularly across the Bay Area and nationwide to onboard restaurant merchants, enhance experience, and support sustainable adoption
- Design and implement onboarding strategies and processes for new merchants, ensuring a seamless and delightful experience
- Execute hands-on work with both hardware and software configuration at merchant sites
- Design and deliver effective training materials; lead training sessions to support staff understanding and platform adoption
- Identify workflow improvements, maximizing merchant adoption and revenue opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, ops, product, analytics, account management) to support successful launches
- Act as a merchant advocate, providing best-in-class support and identifying opportunities for ongoing improvement
- Achieve immediate, measurable results and adapt to evolving business needs
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in hospitality, restaurant management, or systems/platform implementation
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to task accuracy and on-time completion
- Strong customer service skills for both external and internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration ability
- Proactive operator, self-starter, and problem-solver comfortable with high levels of detail
- Spanish fluency is a strong plus
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively

- Experience creating onboarding or training processes for restaurant or hospitality tech platforms
- Prior exposure to launching new systems or products in fast-paced environments
