Executive Summary
A leading consumer-focused organization is seeking a Senior Associate, Consumer Retention Marketing for a long-term temporary opportunity. In this remote position, you will be responsible for launching and optimizing retention marketing programs across email, push notifications, and in-app messaging. This role centers on driving engagement and subscriber retention for a membership product, through strategic communication and cross-channel CRM initiatives. You’ll work closely with product, marketing operations, analytics, and strategy teams in a highly collaborative, data-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the set up, monitoring, and optimization of ad-hoc, triggered, and transactional CRM campaigns
- Create and execute test plans for email, push, and in-app communications
- Build personalized, multi-channel customer journeys to foster retention and loyalty
- Maintain reporting dashboards, track email and engagement trends, and make data-backed recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on campaign strategy and execution
- Share industry best practices, newest trends, and actionable insights with the broader marketing team
Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in CRM or email marketing operations
- Hands-on familiarity with CRM tech including ESPs (such as Braze), segmentation tools, and complex data structures
- Strong analytical mindset and acute attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Sound knowledge of email marketing best practices: contact strategy, segmentation, targeting, A/B testing, analytics
- Highly organized, dependable, self-motivated, and adept at multi-tasking
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of SQL, HTML, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Periscope)
- Previous experience in cross-functional environments
- Direct experience working on the client side
