Executive Summary
We are seeking a strategic, resourceful, and high-performing Senior Associate, Transportation - Parcel to join our client's New Verticals team. You will manage daily regional site operations via third-party relationships while playing a hands-on leadership role in day-to-day parcel movement across the U.S. The position focuses on shipment visibility, exception resolution, and driving carrier performance and process optimization in a fast-paced and growth-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily transportation operations, including shipment monitoring, rapid exception resolution, and carrier communication to ensure on-time performance.
  • Lead the Track & Trace team by guiding workflows, offering real-time support, and keeping the team aligned on service priorities.
  • Build, implement, and evolve SOPs and performance playbooks for continual process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Customer Support, and Carrier teams to ensure seamless execution and a consistent customer experience.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to investigate root causes for service failures and drive corrective actions.
  • Act as a critical liaison between transportation providers, customer service teams, and fulfillment centers to maintain top-level service and clear communication.
  • Utilize Excel/Google Sheets for reporting, data analysis, and operational tracking.
Skills & Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading or managing teams with a strong focus on high performance and service consistency.
  • Expertise in real-time shipment monitoring, rapid exception management, and effective carrier communication.
  • Proven ability to build, implement, and scale processes in dynamic environments.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills; comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience acting as a liaison between transportation, customer service, and fulfillment teams.
Bonus Points
  • Experience with TMS platforms (Turvo, Mercury Gate, or similar).
  • Familiarity with Zendesk or similar CX tools.
  • Background in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Experience building and training high-performing teams.
