Position Overview
A global technology-focused organization is seeking a Senior Product Designer on a contract basis to help advance core user experiences for a high-impact, last-mile platform. This role focuses on developing scalable frameworks and systems, driving craft and quality across digital and physical product surfaces, and collaborating deeply with research, product, engineering, and analytics partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable design frameworks and systems supporting broad user experiences and product initiatives.
- Lead projects that bridge digital and physical interaction, drawing insights from direct user research and operations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with research, design systems, product, engineering, and analytics to craft high-quality, intuitive experiences.
- Focus on user quality and education features, working closely with design peers on core mobile experiences.
- Deliver design proposals through clear storytelling and rationale, engaging stakeholders across multiple levels.
- Elevate the craft and quality of all work, maintaining high standards from initial concept through final execution.
- Solve complex design problems with a first principles mindset, adaptable across varied user segments and operational contexts.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating craft and impact at scale.
- Track record of leading new initiatives and collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail; deep commitment to elevating user experience and product craft.
- Excellent storytelling, presentation, and communication abilities with stakeholders from design through product leadership.
- Passion for complex problem-solving, willing to dive into details and iterate on solutions.
- Experience designing for multiple audiences, including digital and physical product interactions.
