Position Overview
A growing Outside Sales team requires an Associate, Growth Merchant Lead (aGML) for Emerging Markets to develop new restaurant partnerships in untapped and rural territories throughout Oklahoma City, OK and surrounding areas. This field-based sales role is focused on direct, face-to-face dealmaking and fast-paced partnership growth, with travel costs fully covered by the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business expansion by identifying and closing new partnerships with local and regional restaurants in emerging and rural markets.
- Conduct in-person sales presentations, negotiate revenue share agreements, and excel in a transactional sales cycle.
- Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager and Outside Sales team, utilizing provided sales tools and resources to maximize outreach.
- Execute efficient, repeatable sales processes for rapid business acquisition.
- Maintain full compliance for all travel, including overnights and long-distance trips (hotel stays, flights, extended drives).
- Contribute to development of scalable merchant growth strategies and internal sales playbooks.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2.5 years’ experience in closing sales roles or equivalent business development experience.
- Willing and able to travel at least 50% of work time within assigned territory.
- Proven efficiency and strategy with inside and outside sales methods.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and refine scalable sales approaches.
- Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
