Electromechanical Technician

Location:   San Francisco, CA (onsite)

Contract Duration: 3 months

Contract Type: W2 through Staffing Supplier

Pay Rate: $52 - $57/hr

Required:

- Experience with electric vehicles (battery systems, motor controllers, HVDC) 

- Experience assembling and troubleshooting complex electromechanical robotics systems 

- Experience fabricating, assembling and troubleshooting electric vehicle or industrial robotics wiring and electrical systems 

- soldering, crimping, cable management 

- Managing part inventory and builds 

- Experience with Jira ticketing 

- Revising, updating, writing assembly instructions and process 

- Basic fabrication skills for metal and plastic such as drilling, grinding, cutting 

- Amazing shop organization skills 

Nice to Have: 

- CAN debugging 

- Familiarity with AV sensors including calibration, FW flashing and configuration 

- Reading circuit schematics and harness drawings 

- Experience using EE bench test equipment 

- Experience with Linux/Terminal 

- Managing Jira ticketing boards and creating workflows 

- Solidworks experience or interest to learn 

- Advanced fabrication skills such as welding, mill, lathe, CNC, laser cutting

- Mobile, industrial, combat robotics experience
